About Your Therapist

Mallory Mareski, LCSW

Hi! My name is Mallory Mareski, and I am a licensed clinical social worker and the founder of Resilient Minds Counseling PLLC. I have a passion for people, mental health, and have been working in the field for nearly 10 years. I have worked in a variety of mental health settings, including social services, the criminal justice system, community mental health, and private practice.

I am a proud ally and a LGBTQIA affirming clinician. I speak Spanish fluently and as a Latina myself understand collectivistic/family centered cultures as well as the oppression minorities face. I am trauma informed, having experience working with military veterans, kids and teens in foster care, teenage boys in juvenile detention, sexual assault survivors, and many client's all too familiar with death and loss.

I approach therapy in a holistic way, adapting the therapy space to fit a client’s individual needs, communication style, and goals for treatment. I acknowledge the importance of the mind/body connection, and recognize the ways past experiences shape our present thoughts and behavior.

In my spare time, I love snuggling up to my Labradane Loki as well as spending time with amazing friends and family. I’m a shameless repeat tv/movie watcher, love to read, and would prefer to be outside in the sunshine, always.
